Brown Porter is the ground between English Mild, Brown Ale and Robust Porter. Less burnt and acrid than robust porter, and more caramel and toast than a Mild, this is a great kit to try if you like Brown Ales and Porters!
This English Brown Porter kit contains:
9 lbs British Maris Otter Pale Malt or
6.6 lbs Maris Otter Liquid Extract
2 lbs. of Crystal 55, Pale Chocolate and Brown Malts
2 oz. of East Kent Golding Pellet Hops
Muslin Steeping and/or hop bag
Irish Moss for Kettle Clarification/Sedimentation
As with all our recipe kits, you have several options for milling, liquid or dry yeast, and with or without priming sugar.
